About us

Thank you visiting Perfect Motion – I hope I can be of some assistance to you.

My name is Andy Morley – your local soft tissue therapist.

I learned my craft at the nationally acclaimed Oxford School of Sports Massage, gaining BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy – the highest qualification for sports & remedial massage in the UK.

I have unparalleled experience and knowledge to treat a vast array of sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries, lower back pain, and muscle strains, to name just a few.

I am also a proud member of the Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists, a professional association representing the interests of myself and other soft tissue therapists.

What is soft tissue therapy?

Soft tissue therapy is the scientific manipulation of the bodies soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, fascia, nerves and blood vessels). It is used to help prevent injuries, prepare the body for athletic activities and maintain its optimal condition.

Massage therapy can also be used in the conditioning and training phases of competitions – either pre-event or post-event.

Why choose Perfect Motion?

As a keen football player with a passion for running, I have unfortunately suffered with a number of injuries in my life. A few years ago, a disc in my lower back prolapsed as I attempted to get out of my car – it was without a doubt the worst pain I have ever experienced! I was unable to walk and was literally stuck half in/half out of my car from the intense pain.

After months of physiotherapy, my disc still had not realigned itself back into its correct position, and so I was advised to undergo a Microdiscectomy operation, which involved cutting away the part of my disc which was bulging out of my spine, needless to say it wasn’t very pleasant!

As part of my rehabilitation and recovery, I had regular back massages and I found the treatment to be almost miraculous. Not only did it help me to get back to work quicker, it also meant I was able to start playing football again, which I love doing, and so helped me feel better about myself.

After my own painful journey, I wanted to learn more about the art of massage therapy and how I could help others recover from their own injuries, aches or pains, and other discomforts our bodies suffer with, in today’s hectic modern world.

So, I enrolled at the Oxford School of Sports Massage, and strive to assist other people with injuries similar to my own. Having had first-hand experience with this type of suffering, I truly believe that sports massage treatments can aid you back to your fit and healthy self again.
